I have been a Prime member for appriximately a year and a half. During the two month period leading up to Christmas Amazon lost 3 Prime Packages. They ultimately made re-shipped them but they were all delivered mush later than orginally expected. Now in the past 10 DAYS they have lost THREE Prime packages and sent a wrong item on a fourth order. They reshipped two of the packages. The items on the third package is no longer available. I have reordered the correct item on the fourth order and am returning the incorrect item. For the inconvenience over all the lost packages, on January 30th I was informed they were giving me a $25.00 credit on my account...... so far it hasn't shown up. Is anyone else having similar problems with Amazon? BTW, all the lost packages were supposed to be delivered by Amazon's own delivery service. I never had had issues with Amazon before.

@Boehm Collector I haven’t had any problems so far.I had a parcel missing the Christmas before last but it was replaced quickly.I have ordered items that I wanted to return and they criticize me right away and even have told me not to return the item at times.i wanted to say they credit me right away...spellcheck hijack.

Nope, what are the odds of all that happening to one customer in such a short period of time? I love my Amazon! I'm not over joyed that the Amazon drivers now text that they delivered a package and then leave it on the top step and sprint back to the car. I'm working so somethings I don't see that text for a while. But the package is always there, nothing has ever gone missing.

Hi @Boehm Collector I have not had any issues recently - the one time I had a problem with a third party vendor, Amazon did not do a credit to my account, but they extended my Prime membership by a few months (pushed back the renewal date). Is it possible they extended your Prime subscription instead?

I love Amazon, and Amazon prime is amazing. I haved a couple packages lost with QVC, and HSN, but never Amazon. The shipping is so fast.

My 30 day trial is up in two days. I'm not sure if I am going to purchase it. I really didn't use it much.

We've been Prime members since it started back in 2005. We get deliveries multiple times a week and in all that time I can only remember two items being lost.

Perhaps it's not Amazon but the temp help UPS hires during holiday season. Case in Point: A tenant of mine - a college engineering student - received pkg before Christmas. Didn't check the address TO: opened - it was a mini-grill plate and assumed it was gift from his aunt. His home is in NJ - went home for "C" and thanked auntie - nope she didn't buy him a grill. Grill had arrived a month earlier - the Mom called me to see if we could go in his apt - take the grill to UPS and let them deal with Amazon. Did that - assume it was shipped back to "A". It was somebody's gift but my honest tenant didn't want to keep it.
Delivery people are just throwing these boxes left & right - not close checking the ship to address.

@Boehm Collector, I am a longtime Prime member and after years of mostly smooth sailing, I started having problem after problem with Amazon local delivery (AMZL). This happened about a year ago.
Problems included delivery to a neighbor (the neighbor kindly brought it to me a few days later); claiming delivery when the package was actually lost; claiming they could not find my address (the only one I have ever used). All these problems were with AMZL.
I got refunds, of course, and haven’t had any troubles recently, but I have completely lost faith in AMZL.

Wow, you have definitely had more than your fair share of issues! I've been a Prime member for several years and have had no problem getting packages delivered. I'm sorry you have had such problems. What a pain.
