@LurkyLoo He woke up Monday with his right arm numb,he went to the Doctor and was told probably a pinched nerve, not to worry and see how he was the next day, well on Tuesday morning he had the stroke. He is conscious but no feeling on his right side and can not speak,no change since Tuesday.

Thank you for the additional information and I hope he didn’t have an aneurysm rupture, too. It's a shame the first doctor didn’t order some tests.

When my best friend suffered a stroke, she was in much the same shape as Joshua is now temporarily. Over time and with rehab, she has recovered almost completely now. I'm praying for the same good results for Joshua- and the strength for his family, as well as yourself. Take care!

@fourpaws56 Another prayer said for Joshua and his family and team of doctors. Recovery will take time, so we will continue to pray for improvement and progress to get him back to 100%.

My oldest daughters boyfriend suffered a stroke about 10 years ago in his early 30’s. He said his recovery was long and slow, and he had to fight very hard to get himself back even close to where he started. He has no visible outward effects from the stroke, but does have some mild memory issues.

My heartfelt prayers, and very best wishes to your DIL’s brother, and the family who loves him.
