Re: Positive Thoughts for Tuesday, Jan. 3

Happy New Year everyone.

Thank you all so much for the wonderful, uplifting thoughts again today.  I just love connecting to this thread, when I get a chance.

Blessings to those that are suffering.  As I believe I told you, my dear sick friend went to heaven, December 19th.  She is at peace and I take comfort in that thought.  It is so hard to wrap my head around this event, I still see her face so clearly.  Her family sent out a photo they used for Christmas cards with her, her husband and all 6 grandchildren.  It is so beautiful, I'll have that on a shelf all year.  That will give me more and more comfort everyday, I'm so grateful they sent the picture.

Have a wonderful start to your 2017, with my best wishes for a fabulous year.

Dear @3suwm5, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear friend.  Yes, it is so hard to realize that someone we have known and loved is gone.  Gone to a better place to be with God, no pain, no problems, only peace and joy.  But for those of us left behind, loss and grief, and eventually, peace and acceptance.  Yes, at this point, it is hard to believe she is gone from this life, but I know she is looking over you with love.

Only a few years ago I lost a friend who was "like the sister I. Ever had."  A friendship of so, so many years, and never a cross word between us.  She fought ovarian cancer so valiantly, but she did not survive.  She left her DH, DS, and two GC, that she adored.  I still miss her, but I know she is looking over me, as she said she would do.

i don't mean to depress anyone, but we all need to hear that we are never alone in our difficulties.  All my best, Pam

@PamfromCT  Thank you so much.  I needed another perspective, this really helps me.

I'm sorry for your loss.  It is upsetting that our friends fight so hard, but can't be saved because we want them to remain here with us.

I know both our friends are reading our notes right now, seeing that we can find ways to comfort each other.  Even when we are friends from afar.Heart

Have a blessed evening.
