Re: Ordering from store apps

[ Edited ]

I do the bulk of my QVC, HSN, Amazon and Macy's shopping from the apps.

I make all of my Amtrak reservations via the app.

I find them to be enormously easier to use and more streamlined than navigating cluttered websites.

I guess it's a matter of preference.

But I very enthusiastically recommend using apps whenever available and possible!

Everything on QVC's website is available through the app, along with frequent app only sales and deals.

Re: Ordering from store apps

I have QVCs & HSNs apps on my phone & tablet & love them as @THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes said. Less cluttered, streamlined, easy to use.

If I only ordered from a retailer periodically, I'd use their website. If a regular or frequent shopper somewhere I'd use the app.

I’ve ordered from apps for years. No issues.

Target
Amazon
Chewy
Macys
Nordstrom
QVC
Etsy
…,and several more

I also have United Airlines, Alaska, and Delta.

Re: Ordering from store apps

All etailers now use the disclaimer that pricing can be different online website, their app and in store.

I recall several years ago that posters here complained that only selected offerings were available in the app and a better selection was on the Q's website.

Be sure that those apps are sharing your info everywhere. If someone is pushing their app, it's for their benefit, not yours.

Re: Ordering from store apps

I ,,too, have ordered for years from store apps--mostly thru Amazon Fresh and then the individual stores too. No problems much and nothing fishy with using my credit cards at all.
