I'm not surprised that you feel like you've been hit by a mack truck @Epicurean   You had to move a lot around the house to accommodate the new flooring installation.  That takes a toll even when you try to pace yourself.

I'm sincerely happy that you got your booster shot @viva923   Even though my sister and I aren't yet 65, I told her that I think she qualifies for high risk because she goes to work everyday around a-holes who sometimes wear masks and sometimes don't.  This is what happens when management doesn't occasionally show up onsite - folks are on the honor system and you know how that goes.  I very much want her to get her booster.

mighty mack truck visited me all night long along with chills,body aches,pain, stiff joints,teeth chattering. feel much better this afternoon. hope i sleep tonight, had long johns on, heavy jammies,dh was trying to keep me warm as best as he could. sure hope i sleep better tonight. even my implant hurt like the dickens. everything was painful.

dh took me to goodwill for cleaning clothes . found some slacks,jackets

dampy cloudy with a few peaks of sunshine.

The members of my family that took the vaccine got the Pfizer.  I was the only one who got the Moderna and that second shot made me acutely aware of every single bone in my body   I felt tiny bones in my feet that I didn't know I had.

feel 100% better today, man does that 3rd booster kick you in the fanny but i would keep getting the shot ,anything for some protection.

not much else.

did wash 2 loads.

did normal chores today which were light.

we got 1.5 inch rain so far from the nor'easter, it arrived last night on time 7pm. had thunderstorm activity at beginning of arrival. rained heavily all night long.

this morn i emptied the rain gauges we have in front yard. 1st one no problem

2nd one a black widow spider made a nest at opening of the gauge. shook me a bit to see that spider there. could not mistake it, black, long legs and red hour glass, wow, seen photos of the widow but never up close and so personel. carefully took gauge out of ground and tapped against the wind vane next to gauge, took several taps to dislodge that widow. finally miss widow is gone.

Scary about the black widow @viva923   We had rain that started like a sprinkle on Sunday night and it became steadier and dragged on all day yesterday.  I was grateful it didn't come down all at one time even if a couple of areas of my yard pooled before the earth drank it in.

Sometimes I wonder about people in Michigan.  The amount of car accidents yesterday morning was ridiculous.
