@Bird mama   Thank you for your well wishes. My eye surgery  went o.k. I still have a lot of swelling so my vision is still very blurry. I can hardly wait until it improves.

I ordered more bird feed from Amazon today. Now, that the birds have discovered the feeder, they are devouring the feed.

I work or sub three days this week as of today. Two days are at a school 20 miles away so it isn't my favorite, but because of the lack of jobs for several months because of COVID-19, I will grit my teeth and do them as subbing is so unpredictable. If the winter is as bad as predicted, I might not want to venture out on our crooked, hilly roads so get the days while it is safer!

It's been cool and dreary around here and I've been catching up on all of my podcasts that I listen to.  Given the week we've just been through, I've had alot to listen to

not much going on today

speaking of pit bulls,;I walk by several houses with pit bulls and other very large dogs. Only 2 houses i am very Leary of. One the dog broke the chain and attacked me a couple years ago. My cane save me from a dog bite, he bit my cane. If i see the dog and his owner outside I always yell to them telling them i am walking by,they take the dog into the house. The other 2 dogs are in one house,the people just moved in and these dogs are vicious uncontrolled dogs, I mean down right scary dogs. I guess I would say these 2 dogs are not socialized dogs but only to that family. When I see those 2 dogs out the owners only have the dogs on leashes and they scare the daylights out of me, the owners just let the dogs bark furiously and jump and tug violently on the leashes, it scares me if those leashes would break or the owners would lose their grip on those dogs. Most of the other dogs I walk by the dogs know me,they may bark but don't bother me if they are out.

not much else here today. Did weekly prep chores today and cleaned out the fridges for the week.

hey all

well i had a day today

I was attacked by a pit bull today while doing my walk minding my own business, some girls opened up front door let the dog outsides had no leash, or chain attached,it saw me and it had blood in its eyes. He wanted a kill and i was it. The dog did bite but he got the end of my cane, I used that to keep the dog off of me. A jogger runner by was able to assist me. No one came out to help me, they just would not come out to help me in distress (i was screaming my head off). I guess if you need help in my developement people could care less -don't bother me.

called animal control gave my story, they said they would site both girls with careless behavior of dog handling without a leash. Anyway, that is all i know.

dh and i ran a couple errands late today. Walmart and kohl's.

just folded 1st load of laundry all put away.

The sun has been shining most of the day and the backyard wildlife is appreciating it.  I made a quick run to Meijers for some groceries this morning.  I was out of bread and Smart Balance.  I then stopped off at the gas station to put some gas in the gas can for the lawn mower.  Thing won't go if I got no gas for it
