Please may I have two cookies?   I have been trying to fix my computer.  I will say that women are much more sympathetic.   I had made some folders within Merle's email.    One of them was giving me the name of the guy I like from Merle's company that has helped me out.  I like him as well as the girls.  That would not let me see anything.  I called frontier and she was very nice. I always start out by saying I'm not a tech and you will need to be very patient.  I don't know if they actually record that stuff or not. I like to keep ny bases covered.  

I also learned that that just because they give you a new name, they actually didn't. They couldn't give me the wifi password cause when I goofed and called Verizon, she had me clear the router so actually we were on the same router no   It just shows up differently.  She said to change every thing to the same, I would need to wire with my computer. Since we seem to be sending and receiving I opted to leave it alone.  For now.  The big hang up iith merles folders was I asked them to save for two weeks and I needed it to save forever.  After that worked I could see kyles name. I definitely printed a copy for back up.  Boy they are really taxing my poor brain.  Now hold your breath that everything will be where it's supposed to be later.   I can really be a pain if I screw things up.  I always like to monitor what I'm trashing so that keeps space clear. And there's always the sent button.  

Now on I need to tattle to Amazon.  Here lately they send out by ups. I'm a prime member.  Ups gives you tracking info.  On expected arrival date I get a notice on my calendar that it was delivered.  But it was delivered to usps and it actually came a day late but Amazon shows it delivered

Betty, hope everything is working for you now. Remember that it is humans who push the buttons  showing when something is or is not delivered. What can I say. Those things are more often wrong than right - in my opinion. Amazing how much mail I get in my mail box which does NOT belong to me. They seem to put everyone under the sun delivering mail on our little one block long street at all hours. Wish we would get a regular person who delivers - they do a much better job. The biggest boo boo is my street address is 924 and I often get mail for 942. I have been here a long time and those people have lived at their address for a very long time. So I just walk it two doors down and put it in their box - no longer ring their bell. Sigh.

Very chilly this morning. yet again suppose to get warm. It never got real warm yesterday - well I suspect it did but the Santa Ana winds kept it fooled off a bit.

The Canyon 2 fire has been devastating as well as the one up North. I watched the Canyon 2 fire start - it is not that far from me but I am not in the wind area coming from that direction and it was unreal how fast it moved and how quickly those homes went down. Still say they should not be allowed to build that close to each other and especially not in the hills at all.

@Winifred  When I receive misdelivered mail, I put it back in the mailbox pointing out this is not such and such address.  I received an item that was mailed almost two months ago the other day, opened, and taped closed, so I assume it was misdelivered and the rotten person who received it opened it, watched it, DVD, and then decided to mail it on, could even have been someone at USPS.  It was a new DVD, that is how I know it was opened and viewed.

The fires sound terrible.  DH said the smoke from the fires past SF to the North, I believe, was so bad yesterday.

Work was hoppin and I bought a car after work.  I'll pick it up Thursday as I don't have the energy to go back to the dealer tomorrow :-)

Gosh Bernie, if your weather was like ours today, your new car got all wet.   Merle probably would have told me to leave it at the garage till the sun came out.   Supposed to e back in 80s this weekend.  Hope we get to see a picture of it.

So, this is what my car looks like

I don't pick it up until tomorrow (thursday).  Since I am trading in my husbands old camaro that became mine when he died, I needed the extra day to say goodbye to the Cricket (that's her name).  I want to get all the crying out tonight so I don't look like a punk tomorrow.

Pretty car Bernie. Also remember someone else will be thrilled to get that Camaro - they go quickly and there is always a buyer for them.

Another chilly morning. Say my on earth goodbye to Miss Mary this morning at her service being held. I miss that feisty lady already but she finally is at peace. Her life the past couple years has been horrific. Then I will have a little amount of time to try and get my cold weather clothes hung up and store away my hot weather clothes. Course each season I always leave some out of the season leaving as our weather is never on target. Trouble is this house has tiny closets so I cannot keep all my clothes in the house. They have to be packed and put out in the shed. Hate doing that but all the small amount of closet space in this house is being used. There is no way to enlarge these closets either. Mornings are staying very cool so sometime this month - usually hits us between the eyes on Hallowe'en, it burns very cold overnight. Kids always freeze while trick or treating. Interesting. Days still up in the 80s however now.
