Re: OMG!!! ROOF LEAK/WATER DAMAGE

@Shanus

I'm so sorry this happened to you guys.  There's too many awful contractors out there & with no conscious.

It would drive me crazy as well, having so many things out of place.  I wish you well during this construction process.  Hopefully, all goes as planned.

Poor Molly will need major adjusting also.  Maybe you canl visit with her frequently?

Try to stay strong & positive.  Take care.

You would think a reputable company would have cared. We are about to do a home improvement project, and even with good reviews, I'm crossing my fingers.

Re: OMG!!! ROOF LEAK/WATER DAMAGE

@sceniccoast   Your support is most welcome and so kind. We're concerned about Molly, as well. Fortunately, she'll be in daycare for the 4 weeks and I can pick her up at the end of the day. Her adjustment is that's she has been attached to my hip since the beginning of March when I began to quarantine and have only popped out for quick errands.

I'm sure the kind folks at daycare are seeing and used to dealing w/ many "neurotic" dogs that are now too used to being with owners 24/7.

I'm sure everything will be fine. I'll just keep saying that to myself many times until I believe it.

@AuntG   I'm not sounding weird wishing you the best of luck and outcomes. Our roofing company had excellent reviews and many recommendations. You just never know. Good luck to you and I know our situation is not going to happen to you.

Ok I have to ask...who is your insurance company?? lol They sound wonderful that they would fight so hard for you.   So many people pay the outragous prices only to find out that the company doesn't fight for you like you would like them to.

Re: OMG!!! ROOF LEAK/WATER DAMAGE

@Shanus  OMG!! So sorry you have to go through this. It's seems that 2020 is turning out to be the year from hell for so many of us. It keeps giving & giving & giving!!

I'm glad your insurance company is at least coviering the cost of this expensive disaster. At this point just try to look forward, that in about 4 weeks you will have a practically new remodeled home. It will look beautiful.

Good luck & keep us posted.

@NicksmomESQ   Thank you, but my issues are nothing compared with yours. How is it going? Both holding up? 💕

Re: OMG!!! ROOF LEAK/WATER DAMAGE

@Shanus   We are holding our own. DH is at peace with his decision about not rushing to treat something that may never become a problem. He has completely calmed down. As a result I feel better too. Our son is getting married in 2 weeks so we are happily immersed in that.
   Thank you for asking!! ❤️
