I am five feet seven and a half inches tall. Now I have legs with a thirty six inch inseam and have had them since I was twelve years old. Growing up everyone and even as an adult people comment on how long my legs are. Now when I was young it annoyed me when people would always be commenting about them. My Dad told me this and from then on it never bothered me again! " your legs are no longer than anyone elses' legs. They reach from your butt to the ground!" LOL LOL  Then all of a sudden people started commenting on how they envied my long model legs and of course I started viewing them as an asset. So yes small and petite is wonderful but we all have that one thing that just stands out to others and that they wish they had.

I have yet to meet a woman under 5'5" who wouldn't want to have a few more inches. Why do they wear 3" heels??  The OP's posting is her opinion but not shared by many.

Men always go for the tall ladies, even if they are shorter. How many short celebrities who could date anyone have a tall model on their arms. So much for "cows."

I'm five ten and lived in South east Asia for five years and towered above a sea of black haired people. I soon found out how admired tall people were and was asked if I was a model constantly. I rather enjoyed it 😉

My dear friends have either been around 5'2" or 6'. Love them all and dear to me. Height wasn't even a thought. Personality only is how we all got along. That was it.

At 5"0" tall, I have never regretted not being taller - not even by an inch.  Smiley Happy

IMHO there should be no envy either way, either short longing to be tall or tall longing to be petite.  Have the confidence in yourself to be the unique individual you were born to be.....  Woman Happy

Now ladies I didn't mean for my comment to be a negative for tall women and I never  said I didn't like my son's girlfriend because she was so petite, I admire her physical appearence. I guess using the word cow to describe my feelings wasn't the best choice of words.

I'm 5'2" and at this point in my life I'm happy to be me.  My proportions fit me.

My son's gf is his height or a little taller.  Doesn't seem to bother them at all.  Smiley Very Happy

Huh?   I think op is assuming something that isn't true, I can't begin to guess why.  I've encountered all types of prejudices in my time but tall women not liking short women.....that one I have never even heard of.

Now I know why tall women don't necessarily like to hang with petite women. My son is dating a darling exotic looking petite woman who is almost 5ft tall.I'm only 5ft 3 and I'm a small size, but not a size 0 like she is, I feel like a cow next to her.

Sounds to me like you're accustomed to being "the smallest person in the room" ... and now you aren't!  LOL
