Re: Not feeling my best these days

@missy mouse  It is published that that what I am feeling are side effects of this paritcualr drug.

If you are taking a blood thinner for a heart problem such as A fib you should not go off the blood thinner. The pain you are having is probably an orthopedic problem. My friend had a hip replacement last summer and was walking well after 3 weeks. If you are still using a walker this long after hip replacement the Orthopaedic doctor needs to be seen.

@I am still oxox I agree with others that you should not discontinue blood thinners unless that is the doctor's order.  There is a risk of serious complications.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers.  Best wishes for better days ahead.  Take good care of yourself.

@I am still oxox

Please don't believe everything that is 'published'.

Going off the blood thinners without your Dr.'s approval can be very risky.

DH takes blood thinners for a clot in his abdominal artery but he has no side affect from the blood thinner.

Every case is different, but please check with your Dr. about stopping the blood thinner.

@I am still oxox  Of course, you will be in my thoughts. I wish you hadn't stopped your blood thinner on your own. Did you try just taking a lower dose first? Really glad you have appointments scheduled but have you discussed what your feeling with your physical therapist? Most of the time they can suggest helpful solutions. Everybody I know is going through more physical and mental symptoms than ever and have decided this ungodly heat is a huge contributor and are boasting each other until this passes.

Re: Not feeling my best these days

I am sorry to read that you are in pain. You should never ever go off any medication unless your doctor has instructed you to do so. A blood thinner is a very important medication. Your doctor knows best not some information off the Internet that knows anything about you. You need to contact your doctor immediately.

Please don't try to self diagnose, you don't have a medical degree. You could be endangering your life. Hopefully, everything will get better in time.
