UPDATE: I decided not to do this thanks to the input given on the thread... so not more comments are needed.
What would be a fair price to charge someone to come to my home wash and detail THEIR OWN car once a week in my driveway... for a few of hours.... they would be using my water and my electric...just one car. Just curious what you think would be a fair and honest fee.

@SeaMaiden Barter their services for your water and electricity. Ask them to wash your car when they do theirs.

@SeaMaiden I have no idea what your costs would be, but aside from covering those costs, what you want to charge most likely depends upon whether this is a favor or a friend or family member or strictly a business deal.
I do know this much - I have a huge concrete terrace plus an area of landscaping and grass outside the lanai that doesn't get watered adequately by the HOA. If I spend an hour a week cleaning a watering, that might raise my water/sewage bill $2/month - but we would be talking hours of constand hose use.
When I rented an apartment in a private home, a friend came virtually every Sunday - washed his car and mine in the driveway every week. Never once did the landlord even hint he wanted any extra money. But in that area, water was much less expensive than it is where I live now.

I wouldn't charge anything. It's not like the water will be running nonstop for an hour.

@millieshops @On It Just a business deal...to help a person out...I would rather get cash than barter...
probably end up causing more problems and legally might not be a good thing to get involved with ....sometimes helping someone out can end up in front of JUDGE JUDY😄

I assume this person is a friend? Nothing. Complete stranger? I wouldn't let them use anything.

If you are helping out a friend, because they are going through "stuff" and it is just for a short duration, then nothing. If it is a friend and there is no end date to this arrangement, then I wouldn't do it, not for free or for money. It could ruin a friendship and might not be worth the hassle.

I would not feel guilty ignoring this completely. I can just see you sloshing through the soap and water and it getting onto your grass. And twice a week, no less.
