Our NC Governor announced today the mask mandate is lifted. Capacity of most places back to normal. Our gym, however is affiliated with the hospitals and not jumping to let people go back to the way it was w/o masks while exercising. Good for them...being extra cautious!

Now if we had gas to go somewhere....

Walmart, Trader Joe's and Costco say vaccinated customers don't have to wear masks in stores.

Wal-Mart continues to have a sign posted as you enter the store where I live that all customers must wear a mask.  Hopefully this policy will change soon.  I have been vaccinated, and will be glad to never wear a mask again !!!

They are hoping people are going to be honest. I have been vaccinated and I'm happy not to have to wear a face diaper through another miserable Arizona summer. I'm sure more stores will ditch the mask shortly. They are just waiting for someone to go first. Many of our stores stopped requiring a mask weeks ago instead used the word suggested instead. I stopped wearing one in most places and only wear one if it's required.  I live within 5 miles of 8 grocery stores, 3 of which are Walmart's. I will be shopping at Walmart and Costco.

Truth is this means everyone will go maskless but no one will really know who is vaccinated.  Half of the population still isn't .  I first learned of Walmart's decision from an acquaintance on FB who is vehemently anti-vaxx.  She said she can't wait to roam the aisles mask-free.
