I so much looked forward to this 4 day weekend, but it is moving quick
My highlights so far for today is getting a manicure and getting dishes out of the dishwasher and putting away

It's pouring the rain here in southern WV right now.  Our 3rd straight day of intense storms passing thru with nice heavy, soaking rain that we truly need.   Not the best weekend for those camping on a riverbank or ATV trail riding, but I'm loving it!

  talk abt a weeken going fast . Have been watching the movie " Batman Begins " with Christian Bale , Katie, Holmes, Cillian Murphy, Liam Neesom, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Rutger Hauer, Ken Wantanabe, Tom Wilkinson, Mark Boone Jr,  and many other recognisable actors , I could not believe that the movie came out in 2005 , so it's almost 20 yrs ago since I saw it premiere

Computer and Campanella weekend !

Spent the AM finishing up data entries for QuickBooks and taxes.

Spent the afternoon using the Campanella detachable mop with the microfibers on the great room floor.  One of the best products I ever got from QVC. (Used 409 straight).  Every two parches I took a break: hey I'll be 80 soon !

Rainy, dreary days are the best for getting done all the things that are bottom of my list !  Tomorrow is Sunday and it will be sunny, even if it's only in my mind, lol!!🌞☔️

@Luvsmyfam   I'm up to my behind in bubble wrap and boxes. I know what you mean about the long weekend just going by too quickly. We're taking a break tonite and bringing in Chinese food.

When I worked, I felt as you do.

The weekends flew by, then ugh....back to work.  I didn't mind working, but my commute was brutal.  

Once retired, every day was a gift of doing what I wanted when I wanted.  

I'm never bored, always busy doing something.  I rarely watch TV and keep moving, do as I please....take a nap now and then.  Happy just to be free of schedules!

I wish all those things for you in the near future.

@RedTop   Enjoy that rain, although to bad for those that had outdoor activities planned for this holiday weekend.

We need rain badly and none is forcast for days....I tried working in the yard, digging up some flowers and the ground is as hard as a rock.

We had scattered heavy rain showers for the last 4 days; the most rain we've gotten in months.  Glad we got it, and hoping more is coming this month to help with our drought situation.
