Cherish those memories.  I recall that my father became quite sweet and childlike during his last few months in the nursing home.  When he talked about his childhood during the great depression, and his none too nice parents, I realized that he had to overcome a lot and was a much better father than my friends had.

Dear Karnerblue

I hope with time you will come to realize that the love between a dad and his daughter can only change from one form to another, but will never and can never really go away.

Hoping that all of us who live on after loss will find comfort in our memories.

He too is Blessed by the presence of those who love him.

Take care of yourself.
