Making changes in my life - Part II

So if you read my post yesterday - I said I wasn't going to mow my yard as often.  Well, last night a neighbor came by to see if I was okay because she had seen I hadn't mowed in awhile.  She told me my yard is always so lovely.  I realized my decision really wasn't me - I'm the type of person that everything is in its place.  Last night I could hear my mom in my ear telling me to get out and get it mowed.  So today, I mowed and everything is pristine once again.  One good thing, I had thrown grass seed out in the side yard a few weeks ago and much of the areas moles had dug are finally green once again.  Looks great - I just get in these moods where I just don't care what people think, but I guess I should listen to my instincts.  Thanks for listening to me rant.

@hoosieroriginal  Don't change who you are.  If you like everything pristine, that is wonderful.  You are still able to mow your lawn so enjoy it because one day you will need to hire someone.  I would love you as a neighbor!    Enjoy your day!    Heart:cathappy:

I am alot like you @hoosieroriginal I swear I am not going to do something, and BAM I am right back doing what I would have along, LOL!

Hey, at least your neighbor was concerned enough about you to come and check on you, that says so much about YOU, take that to your heart and rejoice, you are obviously cared and thought of!

Your neighbors care about you @hoosieroriginal and that is such a blessing.   I had one knock on my door at 2:00 on Wed. afternoon to find out if I was o.k. since I was not at work.  He did not realize it was Veteran's Day.  Woke me from a nap but it is nice to have someone notice changes in our lifestyle/schedule.  Now for changes in my life I have certainly embraced the less time I spend shaving my legs. Heart

I had a feeling the neighbors would appreciate the un-mowed lawn look...lol  Can't you hire someone to do the lawn work?  It's summer, there must be h.s. and college kids doing that type of thing.

@chrystaltree - I have a riding mower - don't know why I think that's a problem.  I'm in good shape and so far can mow my own lawn - just in a bad mood I guess from peeling off wallpaper for a week.
