I listen to music every day. I listen to classical radio when I'm in the car. I listen to various kinds of music when I work  out each evening. I prefer music from the 40s - 80s. I like the old crooners, early rock and roll, easy listening, folk, pop, and some country and bluegrass. I also love Christmas music and the soundtracks to great movies and musicals. 

I've had a love for music from an early age. My mother sang around the house and in the church choir. I've been singing in my church since I was a child. I became a soloist in the choir when I was a young adult. I was the lead vocalist in a band for a few years and have sung at various local and regional events and fundraisers. I'm 59 now and still singing.

I hear you but there are some great new contemporary artists. You just can't find them on commercial radio!

40 years in this house, and the only time a radio has ever been on here, is when my girls were in school and we listened to the radio for lunch menu, school closings, and bus announcements.   We also listened to the radio occasionally during power outages.

I listened to the radio in the car on my way to and from work for 27 years.   Since retiring, the radio is hardly ever turned on.   I prefer a quiet house, altho my husbands TV is on nearly 20 hours a day.
