So very sorry for what you are going through.  It's hard to lose anyone.

If I may, I am going to share this writing which was part of a sermon given by a priest.  I wish I had had it when we lost our son, not yet 20, a month after Christmas.  I read this often. Sending you prayers.

So sorry for what your family is going through, it's never easy when a loved one appears to be transitioning to be with the Lord but be comforted to know he will be in a better place and with your mom if it's his time to go. May the Lord bless you and your family !

You had to make the hardest, but most loving, decision to take your brother off life support.  We had to do it for my mom.

Prayers for your family during this most difficult time.  Your brother is very lucky to have you as his big sister.
