hello all

birdmama, my new mower isn't self propelled but it mows great (new blade), it has a bagger or you can use no bagger either way. it has a large red button that you push, pull up the blue bar on handle and mow. it is a light weight mower,i don't think it is that heavy. dh said he would help me mow so we can get yard done asap.

it is a nice blue. a kolbalt mower.hope it doesn't raise the electric  to high using it every 10 days or so.

Sound pretty @viva923   Mine is an ugly black and grey thing with a red plastic assembly over the engine.  I love the bagger attachment because my shoulders can't take the raking.  I can run the mower without it.  I like to use it like a vacuum in the fall when the leaves fall off of the trees.  The grass has pretty much slowed down on the growing by then but it really clears the yard of the leaves.

It almost felt like Christmas this morning.  I could see that the patio and driveway were damp and it was pretty dark for 6 am at this time of year.  It was cool when I fed and watered the wildlife so I opened windows all over the house.  We had a nice rain come through and I've kept the windows open all day.  Smells fresh, feels cool and comfy and I am loving it.

birdmama, we got very oppressive here, wind died down to zero, so no air movement. i just gave up at 2pm walk after i was done, i closed up. maybe we can open later.

Yea when you feel like you are walking into a sauna it's time to sit down someplace and rest @viva923   After a couple of weeks of using the A/C I swear that my upstairs feels almost pressurized.  I have a functioning gable fan too that comes on automatically.  Even though it was still a wee bit humid yesterday evening I couldn't take it anymore and opened up some of the upstairs windows for about 20 minutes.  It was like my house had been holding it's breath and it let out a sigh of relief.  I can't believe I'm getting ready to write this - it got so chilly upstairs that I had to close the windows.  I'm deliriously happy right now.

we opened up last night before i went to bed. winds shifted to northwest so it cooled down.house opened now, fans in windows. comfortable here, warm  yes, but nice day.

The sun was shining, the breeze was blowing and I had every window open again today.  The last time I stepped into the yard (about 15 minutes ago) it felt like fall and I wanted to do some kind of dance around the yard, lol.

I hope this doesn't come across like bragging.... It was in the 40's last night and the furnace kicked on, lol.  I was in heaven.  Sun shining, low humidity and a chill in the air.  My kind of weather.  I have my annual endocrinologist appointment tomorrow morning.  Whoo, hoo (not really).
