Viva was the first poster for June.  She writes:

hey all

dh 1st day at new job. hope he does ok and it works for him.

after 30 yrs being at one job working on all the equipment will this new job satisfy him. he wanted day 8 hour work he got what he wanted hope it works.

Anyone prefer cool summers? Our normal high should be 73 on June 1 and for the next two weeks, it will be 80 to 90 each day. That makes me very unhappy😢.

@AuntG  Hey 'cool summer sista', I am with you.  I was born at the end of August and I swear that marked me because by the time I was on the 'outside' the weather started to get cool.  I cannot stand hot weather.

@AuntG   I begin to hibernate, if possible, when it gets to around 90 with our usual humidity. The older I get, the more uncomfortable it is for me.

What's the differrence between the Back Fence thread and the Bird's nest thread? What subjects should be posted where?

I love cooler summers, but unfortunately they normally come with a lot of rain, which I don't like.  Basically, I like autumn the best with cooler temps and lower humidity.

hello all

beginning to get humid outside, still have house opened up, will be closing it up by tomorrow. have to save money on electric.

dried my clothes outside today, good day for drying even tho it is overcast.

clothes hung outside all down and put away
