It's rained a couple of times today.  I'm pleased that it's coming down this way so the earth gets a chance to drink it in.  Even better, the sewer lines have time to drain out.

HELLO ALL

the testing done at hospital. it was. NIGHTMARE,still in much pain,still crying. I WAS GIVEN NO bladder pain meds, just told to wait 4=-5 days if pain does not go away call.

i don't wish this test anyone, maybe the worst enemy,but even then i would think i twice.

my appoint was for 2pm, be there by 130pm. there at 140pm, i had to wait till after 3 pm with a full bladder it was awful. they wanted to know why i am so upset, sorry this wait was uncalled for with a very full bladder.

still slight pain today.

dh had to get his car in for oil change and tire rotation. he takes it to the dealership where we got that car some 15 yrs ago.

very warm and humid today, had rain showery weather this morn. that cleared out and now we have soup.

I am so sorry that you went through that yesterday @viva923   When I still had a uterus, lol, I had to go for many an ultrasounds.  Of course they want you to have a full bladder.  For a uterus?  I often wondered about that.  I used to get there and tell them, look, you have about 15 minutes to get it done or I'm gonna empty the old bladder and we're gonna have to take another crack at this later.  

I'm glad you are at least a little bit better today.  

I awoke to a power outage this morning.  When I checked DTE Energy's power outage map it showed that power went out last night at 10:30 pm.  Ummm maybe somewhere else in the neighborhood because I turned the TV off at midnight and I still had electricity.  Their estimated restoration time was 11:30 pm.  Normally my refrigerator noises bother me however when I heard it humming at 10:45 am I could have kissed it 

I saw news reports of towns south and southeast of me that got 6 inches of rain last night - my God the flooded freeways, streets and basements.  We're expecting another round of rain and I just went outside and groped the front yard a bit   You would think after the rain I got yesterday the ground would be soggy... nope.

Hello all, wow did I have issues logging in this morning.  Every time I signed in, I was taken page to the home page   It was pretty hot and humid yesterday and short of feeding and watering the wildlife on the patio, I pretty much confined myself to the house - bless the person who invented air conditioning.  We got more rain last night, it didn't last long as far as I could tell.  It started at 11:45 pm and pretty much stopped by the time I fell asleep 10 minutes later.

I noticed that my front yard lampost was not lighting up on Saturday night so I replaced the lightbulb and cleaned the glass panels yesterday morning.  I covered the photocell (or magic eye as I call it) that controls the dusk to dawn functionality and the light came on.  I was doing all of this at 6:30 in the morning, lol.

Last night that darn lampost didn't light up.  This morning I put another new bulb - nothing.  I covered the magic eye with electrician's tape - nothing.  I've replaced the magic eye once before so imagine my surprise when I checked home depot/lowe's to find out what aisle and bay I needed to go to in order to pick one up and I found that I have to order it and have it delivered to a store.  Honestly, these magic eye things are pretty popular and I don't know when they stopped carrying them in the store.  I was kinda peeved when I placed the home depot order to have the new magic eye delivered to the store.  Oh and they run like $26 now.

My husband moved the lampost from the middle of the yard to closer to the front porch I think in 2002 or 2003.  I am not about to futz with the wiring and go backwards to flipping a switch to turn the light on and off after all of these years so I paid what they asked, lol.

glad  you were able to log in. had much problems yesterday with postings, typing was ahead (way a head) of the words I was typing near a sentence long strokes before words would appear.

3 loads of clothes washed, all hung out. 2 loads down folded and put away.

did morn walk with my 4 bottles of water, not bad walking this morn.

Yike it was really hot and humid today and we got some afternoon storms.  Here's hoping the line of storms out of Indiana peter out before they get to me.
