mowed today, another heat wave is buidling wanted to get lawn mowed before heat gets to bad.

going to see fireworks tonight if nice weather holds out.

Whoa the folks in the neighborhood went crazy with the fireworks and firecrackers last night.  Sounded like shotgun blasts outside my window   I don't know what's worse - the shotgun blast sounds or the screaming rockets.  At least they observed the noise ordinance and stopped around 11 pm.

I'm back in the groove and my routine is on track.  Got the shopping and lawn mowing done yesterday.  My sister came over today and she brought the food, my goodness there was food.  I'm so grateful that she likes to cook. It was 90 degrees outside so we stayed indoors in the A/C.

I got such a belly from all that I ate it's ridiculous, lol.

What a nightmare to get into the boards. Keeps saying I am a guest and keep trying and this popped up.  I am slow anyway these days - have not been here in a spell but did manage at this point. LOL.

Another very hot day here in Sou Cal. Just do not like this place any too much. Use to love it.

Better get a move on - at least I finally was able to get in but will see how long that lasts.

news today

my son in law got the call he has been waiting for for over 3 years. a kidney donor was located and to get to john hopkins hospital ASAP. we all live about 3 hours from hospital. son in law dad drove him. my daughter stayed at home with the 3 kids.

know my daughter and her husband have a cordial relationship, he even asked my daughter what he should do. she told him to go do it and fight with all he could for the 3 kids.

know the donor was a 40 yr old male who passed in an accident,that is all that was told to my son in law/daughter.
