Okay, I just can't do jigs! I don't know what it is. I hope you find a good solution though.
Have you ever thought of getting some paints (water colors or oils) and hitting a canvas?
If you have no skills (like me), just do splashes of colors that will match the bedding in your room. Stripes even! Just do a canvas of coordinating stripes.
Once you get the hang of it, maybe you could do something similar for other rooms in the new house!

That's a good idea. Maybe I can find some ideas on Pinterest. I did find a paint by number of s golden retriever that could be fun.
I found three puzzles on amazon and ordered them. The ones I ordered will fit on my tablemate. I was going to order the bigger tablemate but I don't want to bring more stuff into the house as we are trying to move.

I have always loved jigsaw puzzles. I live in a fairly small apartment, but my intention is to get a card table to do puzzles on.
I have a friend who does jigsaw puzzles that feature scenes with books. She gets some kind of puzzle paste that lets you keep a puzzle together. Then she gets it framed. She hangs the framed puzzles along on the walls going down to a lower level of her condo. They look great!
I also enjoy doing puzzles online: go to jigzone.com. One nice thing about doing these online puzzles is that all the pieces are positioned the correct way (you don't have to rotate them or anything). Many of these puzzles are super-challenging and can take hours and hours to do. But they're FUN!

I was doing some on my phone earlier. I even took my photos on my phone and made puzzles out of them. That was kind of cool.

My dear, late mother loved working jigsaws. She eventually became legally blind in 1 eye with poor vision in the other, yet she worked those puzzles and read and did crosswords too. Many times I would visit her and try to "help" her with the puzzle. It would take me 15 minutes to find a piece and she would've found 5 or 6. She worked those 5000 or 7500 piece ones. One Christmas I gave her a 1000 or 2000 piece puzzle and she had it together by New Years Day. She appreciated it but told me " to please in the futire get me at least the 5000 piece ones. The smaller ones aren't tough enough." Miss her!
