Do you really want to remain bitter? You kept expecting her to be the way you thought she should be. You kept this "friendship" going; she did not.

It was ruined by your expectations. Let it go.
She may be a fraud etc. - I cannot say. There are always two sides to every relationship.

Your focus would be better used for something positive elsewhere.

You are not a bad person but your perception of reality is skewered.

People are people. Let it go. It's not that important anymore.

@Cakers3 She is no longer part of my life. What is passed is over and done with. I should of learned my lesson 8 years ago when my husband had a health emergency and she was to busy to even be a supportive friend. If I see her it will be a plesant greeting I no longer care to be part of her life

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

Good for you. Sometimes it is harder to let go of expectations and when we try we leave claw marks before we finally realize we are only hurting ourselves.

Enjoy what makes you happy.

Ice cream helps sometimes.🙂

Be well.
