She said that she has known the recent guy for five months..

AND, all the OP asked for was stated in the last line of her opening post:
"How do I get over this man?"

It just needs to be a friendly call to say hello. No interrogating or accusing. I don't understand why the female can't be the one to place a call. Why does she have to be the one waiting for the phone to ring?
@San Antonio Gal I assumed she did call and didn't hear back. After all, something could have happened to him, so it's good to inquire. I think women can call. I think the advice about not calling was because he had stopped calling her back. So in that context I would not call again, and would try to move on.

@elated wrote:I was trying to remember when you posted about your first date and that was on April 5th.
Well Q pals,I had my date, and things went quite well.we had a nice dinner then listened to a really awsome jazz group.Im hoping he had a awsome time as well.
Time will tell if this leads to anything. If not,I had a very nice night.
The second time you posted about your second date was on 4-19.
Tonight I have a date, and very excited, but nervous like always.I am going with same person who I went out with a few weeks ago.I don't know about you all,but I like to make plans ahead of time.Unfortunatly,he is not.I probably would of bought a new outfit or something, but to late now.Oh well,I'm hoping to have a great time a yway!
Well Q friends, date night ended early.Half way thru my salad,I got terribly queasy. The flu has been going around at both jobs so I'm thinking I might have a touch of it.I felt really bad, because he wanted to go to his sisters retirement party and introduce me to friends and family. I am home now and in my jammies. He seemed to understand a d said he would call tomorrow to see how I'm doing.......SWEET. So that's how it went.Have a nice weekend Q friends
That was the last we heard from you. So, it appears, you only went on two dates. If you have known this man for 5 months, how many dates did you actually go on? It is just very curious. Just a bit confused.
Forgive me @elated but you are making a lot of assumptions here, that she gave you a blow by blow account of her relationship. You think time stood still after 4/19?
Let luvsmyfan share what she wants to. She doesn't owe you anything. She was just posting for support, not to be held to account to you.

@Teddixat wrote:@elated this poor woman is hurting yet some of the comments here are very hurtful - accusing her of being needy and falling too hard and too fast for this guy. We don't know her and it's unfair to accuse her of same. She said she hasn't enumerated all of her dates with this guy. The bottom line is she came here for some comfort (that was a big mistake as this place is toxic). I would venture to guess that many of us here have fallen for someone who wasn't necessarily the best choice. However when one is are rejectedor ghosted, it still hurts no matter how lousy the guy was. Show some compassion for goodness sake.
I think you must be reading into something that was not stated. I only copied her dating posts and said it was confusing. You don't know the full story and it is hard to give advice. There are two sides to every story. You need to know what you're talking about before criticism.
@elated If you don't have the information to give advice, don't.

@LuvSoCal @San Antonio Gal Not only did the man touch @tiny 2, but his mouth was close to her ear.
That has happened to me and is very uncomfortable for a stranger to do. I would have left quickly to, after taking a good look at the guy so that he knew I knew what he looks like.

Don't beat yourself up. I don't think this thread is helpful anymore. If I were you, I would stop reading. There are people who enjoy stabbing a knife, and they post here.
I know you are strong and will recover. You give ME hope.
