I've been Mia for several reasons.I thought I was in a relationship with a man,and was having such great fun time with him.Then,something happened over Memorial weekend.I haven't seen or heard a word from him since.Just like that it's over.Now the question I have is why?I got the message when I hadn't heard from him.I deleted his number.this has put me in such a funk .Im constantly checking my phone in case he texts me.

How do I get over this man?

@Luvsmyfam.  Keep reminding yourself that you must kiss a lot of frogs before finding your prince.

First of all, what happened over Memorial Day weekend? I mean, something must have happened. It's not usually the norm for someone to just ghost a person without a reason. Relationship lines can be blurry when it's new. Both people have to be on the same page. So you ask, how do you get over him? Know he's not "the one". If he were the one, he would choose you. It easy to hope that someone we like is "the one", but it's selling yourself short by waiting for someone who might not have been on the same page as you. The right person chooses you as well as you choosing them.

@Luvsmyfam.  You seem to become emotionally vested in a person very fast.  Maybe you come on too strong and scare a man who is not looking for a permanent relationship.  Next time, don't be so eager or available.  Play kind of hard to get.

In the meantime, get out and do something to distract yourself.  Quit crying over losing something you never had and try, try again.

@Luvsmyfam , I would need to ask him what happened. Even if I had to go to his home, or work. Nothing confrontational,  just ask for an explanation.

I am sorry you are hurting. I think it would help you to move on if you knew why.

If he was a nice guy he would have talked to you not just ghosted you. I think you met him where you work, has he been in there? Are you sure nothing has happened to him? Did something happen on your last date?

@Luvsmyfam

I am so very sorry this happened to you!! So sad you've been crying a lot !! I haven't been writing on here for a couple months but when I saw your post I had to come on to tell you I'm sorry!!

Relationships are so hard and it doesn't matter what your age is. I've always been an emotional person especially when it comes to men. Cry as much as you need to! 💖

Can you tell us anything about what happened Memorial Day weekend or maybe it's too personal?

@Luvsmyfam That's too bad. You seem like a nice person but I'm just wondering if maybe you appear to be a bit needy when it comes to having a relationship.

I'm not being mean but I had a good friend like that. She got dumped by a guy who flat out told her she was too pushy (I'm NOT saying you are) and she needed to back off. She finally did after a lot of fails and met someone really nice.

And playing a little hard to get is a good thing. And I disagree with the person who said to basically track him down and confront him. NO. That won't help and it's the sure sign of desperation which I don't think you are.

With the next person, relax, don't be readily available each time he asks.

I think you just need to chalk this up as "one of those things."  Cry some if you must but you need to move on. I wish you well.
