Mid June I bought my great niece 4 pairs of shorts from Walmart.  They sent them via FedEx.  Fedex is problematic here because they won't ring doorbells.  They usually toss the package in your doorstep or porch.  But they didn't  do that.  They took them to one of those drop off places.  A dry cleaner in town.  They said  I'd get an email to pick it up.  Never got the email.  The place said they never received the package.  Hubby checked in with them twice.  I gave up.  I thought eventually they would return it to Walmart.  So.  Last Monday FedEx sent an email telling me to pick up my package.  I didn't.  I didn't care and it was so hot.  Today.  I got an email saying FedEx tried to deliver and I refused delivery.   That did not happen.  I've been in all day.   Why not just put it on the steps like they always do?  Maybe they will finally return it to Walmart like they should have done six weeks ago.  Conversely, I bought her similar shirts for the same $4 a pair from Shein and they were delivered by USPS in 7 or 8 days.  She's been wearing them all summer.

Knock on wood, I've not had any of the delivery services take my packages to a drop off site witout my having agreed to it. Knock on wood again, but around here, Fedex has stepped up while the other services have become more lax.

I had an issue with a shipment from Amazon shipped via Fedex. The delivery was a rug from the vendor, Fedex was supposed to deliver on Friday, checked all day Friday no delivery. Finally delivered 2 PM Saturday. we are not home while my renovation is being done, thank goodness the contractor was there on Saturday to get the delivery

I do too, for all the same reasons. Thanks for posting. I will not purchase from a provider who uses FedEx for delivery.

FedEx never rings the doorbell here.  Wish they would.  Brown and USPS are more likely to.  FedEx occasionally loses a package once it reaches the local facility and then usually finds it a few weeks later, but I have the same problem with USPS on occasion.  I'll get the wating to be accepted at my local facility message.  I don't know what that means.  We don't have a large facility.  And where do packages wait before they're allowed to enter?

Lately, our USPS has been lax about delivering some of our mail, mostly sales flyers.  It even made the news and then we got 2 months worth, but still not the most recent one in one day.  I have no complaints about our mail delivery person though.  She works her bu++ off.

FedEx often leaves our packages right in front of our garage doors.  The front door step is only a few steps away and the front door step is where UPS and the postal service leaves our packages - but not FedEx.   So far, I've been lucky and have not backed out of the garage and driven over anything!

There is one FedEx driver here that knocks on the door like he is not only the police but an entire SWAT team.

I would love that.  I would be thankful because if I was in the back of the house, I would hear him.

@chrystaltree   I feel your pain.  In our area they are ureliable.  At our business I will not work with a supplier if they will not ship using UPS.

FED EX lied about trying to deliver tags that I had ordered.   They said that the road was closed and they could not deliver.  Complete lie...our business is on the main street in a small town and no roads were closed.

UPS is pretty reliable, they stop in our office roughy the same time every day when we have a delivery. FED EX shows up all hours of the day.
