I'm so sorry !!!  And yes, I know exactly what you mean about thinking you have it all together and then "Bam".

I'll tell you a little funny story to cheer you up.  I am a renowed "faller".  My family just says, "Where is Mother, Oh, there she is on the ground over there."   I just tell people I know where I am by the taste of the dirt.

Anyway, I had gone to school to have lunch with my precious granddaughter.  When we finished lunch, I had her tray and mine, and somehow, my foot got tangled up in the table leg.

My little granddaughter was trying to steady me and one of the lunchroom monitors came running over to help.

My most beloved granddaughter looked up at her and  as earnestly and concerned as a 5 year old can be said "This is my Grandma.  She is about 100 years old and has bad balance."  

About the only thing I could say was " Well, she's not far off about the age."

@NicksmomESQ, oh no!  You sound like me and my broken foot!  Twice, exactly one year apart.  Laid up for 17 weeks the second time.

@MoJoV  Oh Ms Lark, I'm so sorry to hear about your fall. It's easy to do this but it's never a good thing. I trip all the time walking with my poodle, bad sidewalks around and sometimes I get twisted in his lease if he zigs and I try to zag.

Take it easy today my friend. It's okay to feel sorry for yourself, I feel for you as well. Take good care of yourself.
