I’ll be showing my age with this question

[ Edited ]

Just read that Gina Lollobrigida passed away at 95. Got me thinking about the movie stars I admired as a little girl. She was one of them, so glamorous and beautiful.
Others were Kim Novak ( I had paper dolls of her)

Lana Turner

Sophia Loren
then as a young teen in the early sixties. I loved Sandra Dee and thought it was soooo romantic that she was married to my heartthrob Bobby Darren

what femaie movie stars did you love or admire?

I liked watching Grace Kelly and Vivien Leigh movies.  I thought they were the most beautiful movie stars.  Fatalne i tajanstvene: Otkrijte sve o ženama škorpionima

@smoochy , Did you like the movie " Come  September ?"  Your post made me think of this movie that I remember loving. I believe it was starring Gina Lollobrigida, Rock Hudson, Sandra Dee and Bobby Darren.

I told my husband yesterday that she died..he said all the good, older ones are dying, he is right.  I barely know any 'stars' today.

I can't think of any movie stars I admired, but will show my age by saying Jacqueline Kennedy, women who spoke out for women's rights, Grace Hopper, Sandra Day O'Connor, and number of female authors--too many to list!  And my mom because she was a WAC and a very independent woman.
