Sam's didn't make it where I live.  Closed rather abruptly.

Here, it's Costco baby!!!  It's never too crowded for me, so I just whip around the store, self-check, and go!

The employees are the best around too. 

BTW, we tried Sam's on a day pass when they opened and it was unorganized, no one was helpful, overall was not impressed.  It just didn't catch on here I suppose.  They could not complete with our Costco.

I suppose if I bought steaks or other meat I would be sad.

I have never purchased fresh meat at Costco. I avoid their seafood. It is most likely farm raised, frozen and from who knows where. I buy my seafood from Fresh Market same with steaks. Fresh Market often has wild Georgia shrimp and if not caught off the coast of Georgia it is from the Gulf coast.  Other meat I buy from Publix.

I have found that their baby back ribs are better than the thin ones at the grocery store.

Love Sam's!  I buy quite a bit of meat there and split it with my kids.  It's close to my work and I always  get gas there. I agree their TP is much better than Costco as well as paper towels.  

When DD got married a couple of years ago I got their wedding cake there and it was delicious.

LOVE sams club......and i think their meats are excellent.

i often purchase their filets, ribeyes, ground beef, and chuck for pot roast or to be cut up for stews. excellent prices, excellent flavor. surprised that some have not had good experiences. 

cannot think of one thing that i DONT like at sams club. this time of the year is particularly fun to see what is in the store.

i do use the scan and go feature in the store and it saves a lot of time for me. i also use their delivery services and that costs me $8 flat rate for the entire order. we have a business membership and their credit card and we get sams cash and credit card rewards.

Out of curiosity I Googled Sam's to see if there's one near me since I don't recall ever seeing one ( there is). Anyway, I saw that there is a $20 annual membership offer going on for new customers if anyone is interested.
