I think your normal!  There is not a day that goes by where I do not do something crazy like that!  All my friends have reached 75 and are just like this.

I drop things, forget to buy, even with list, forget to give someone a simple thing, like a stamp maybe.  Walk back for forth to kitchen sometimes four times by the time I have taken my pills, fed the cat and have my ice bag!

I live with a note that I sometimes forget to bring with me!  I check off things, very simple  too.

Our town's women's group calls us "Age Gifted"!

Well @rms1954 I can't say I have left ice cream on the counter but twice I put it in the refrigerator. Basically I got the same results. It was completely melted so had to toss.

Our book group often discusses this type of forgetfullness so don't beat yourself up. Here at our house I'm starting to think that we have a poltergeist-probably hired by one of the opossum so that we have something good to share that night!

I watched the mother with 2 Kids drive out of Chick-fil-A lot with both of their drinks sitting on top of the SUV. I honked wildly to get her attention (so did everyone else) and she smiled and waved to me.  😂🤣😅

I would've tossed the ice cream back in the freezer.

@rms1954 ---oh my--this made me chuckle!!!  Just re-read it and laughed even more!!! What a horrible waste of perfectly good ice cream!!!! Bad@rms1954, bad !!!!!! 😣 Of course I am kidding----have done far worse but not by much--again--only kidding!!! I'll come over and take you to buy another quart!!! Any kind you want!!!😁
