We keep it simple as we are so blessed to have each other in our lives.  We celebrated with a card to each other and balloons for me.  They are my favorites.

 

Then we headed to Noodles and Co. for an early lunch.   

 

After lunch we headed to the UW-Hosp.  The best news of all is that my dh's yearly brain scan came back normal.  

 

We will be quietly celebrating our 54th wedding anniversary in March.

ETA:  I forgot to mention that our first date was on Ground Hog Day & he gave me his class ring on Valentine's Day.  I knew that he was a keeper and apparently he thought I  was too.

We celebrated yesterday and spent the day in Coronado. SO treated me to a nice lunch. It was a beautiful sunny day but it was very chilly. I was glad I dressed warm.

 

I received a dozen roses a few days ago and today they are almost open.  We exchanged cards this morning.

Happy Valentine's Day.

DH made filet mignon with shrimp on the Made In griddle I bought him for Christmas. It was really good. We had leftover birthday cake for dessert.
