Going thru all sorts of stuff including photos of my Grandpas art. The response cards from my wedding seeing seeing the names of relatives long past. Made me laugh and cry.

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

@I am still oxox I enjoy going through my old photos and memory boxes from time to time. However, I know some of the things may be triggering for me too. Sometimes it's good for me to have a good cry, kinda cleansing in a way.😊💝💕

Wow ! I just did that yesterday ! Went thru birthday cards from my children and grandchildren ( I can't seem to throw any away) Years of cards. My children would say Mom you need to throw those away they are old ! I can't seem to do that yet. I also went threw old school records from my children and my mom's bible and read the information she wrote down for us including family history of her mom and dad's ancesters and all of her children and grandchildren. She listed all names and where they were born, who married who, children, grandchildren etc. Stuff I would have never known. Mom passed from Covid in 2020 and I'm her oldest child of 10. It's great to have the family history !

A few months ago, several neighbors and I were talking about our kids, etc.

One of the ladies was talking about about her kid, who's about 8, and what she's been doing. I mentioned that I miss my kids when they were little. She kind of gave me a disgusted look and said, "I don't live in the past."

Alrighty then...lol

I still have mementos from my bridal/baby showers ...

I love reading cards from my kids and loved ones ❤️ 💕 ♥️ 💖

I totally agree about " a good cry" it's good to get it out ! TY , for sharing @cheriere....nice too know ,I'm not alone! ❤️
