Tomorrow I plan to make chicken pot pie.  It sounds like a cozy meal to me and I may make a dessert of some sort.  It will either be a tunnel of fudge bundt cake (that I had planned to make for our Christmas Eve dessert and didn't) or a carrot cake that my sister makes that is different from my recipe.  

Maggie will enjoy all the snow.  Gracie will be quick out to do her business and a quick back in.

@Sassy7356   12 " of snow would make me stay home a week or more! Keep warm and cosy cooking all those delicious meals.
      Everyone:  The  carrot cake from Walmart was different from before. More like a spice cake, but good. Not like homemade! My son was given two homemade cheesecakes we sampled both and one was richer. 
   After watching news about snow north of me I'm very thankful. It will be warmer tomorrow today 50 tomorrow 51 and Monday 63, with wind and rain. Tuesday 38! Brrr! 
    Today after laundry, dog walks, putting den and kitchen decorations away I took my son the newspaper.

   My granddaughter had spent the night at a friend's and she picked up Tony to take him to an overnight party with her two friends. She sent a photo of their wrists with the bracelets from QVC I got them for Christmas. These were a set of three stretch with stone  beads. Some were lava beads that could be dabbed with perfume. 
    Since Tony was partying with other dogs and girls my son went to dinner at a nearby pub with a friend. 
      I stopped by the resale store and browsed. Lots of China, Waterford crystal and silver for sale. I just browsed then walked Snickers and continued undecorating. 
        @Sweet Caroline 1   I'm glad your Christmas was nice with the family and the dog knew you were a friend. That many people for a long time especially not hearing conversations with the noise is hard for me also. But I try to hear and pretend I do often. 
      @hullie   Your Christmas with the family seems to have gone well, so glad you were with family.

I had a quiet day. I needed the rest. We have some bad weather coming tomorrow too. I didn't even cook again, just too tired. Tomorrow I want to fix a nice meal. Homemade chicken noodle soup probably. I am so tired of sweets. There is always so much around the holidays. @1Snickers Your little shop that you like to browse in always sounds so interesting. I love shops like that although I really don't have room or need anything more. Goodnight everyone.
