@AnikaBrodie I had a feeling this had or would happen. Ed had suffered so much for the past years, at least now you can feel some comfort in knowing that his heroic struggle is now over and he is at peace.

@AnikaBrodie Patricia, Words can't express my sorrow for your loss. Know that my prayers are with you at this sad time.

@1Snickers wrote:HI!..... It was 63 this morning and we walked on wet roads around the triangle. There was a truck, probably the phone company or electric. They've been replacing lines all Summer and fixed the house across the street and down a few hundred yards. It's a curved road and it poured rain an hour after our walk. They left mud 2/3 of the way into the street from huge tires. They lady has it natural but had paid landscapers to fix it before. We will go around it. Next week when it's dry I'll try blowing it but it needs shoveling and construction men done care.
I blew the driveway and it's back with wind up to 38mph.i'll wait and do it again tonight after they've died down.
I did laundry and cleaned the house because tomorrow I'm meeting my friend for our Christmas lunch then we come back to my house to open gifts which are always overdone. It will be good to see her.
My granddaughter apparently got home about 8 last night but they all forgot to tell me. At midnight I texted my son and he told me he thought she would text. She texted with an apology immediately . I was reading anyhow. Just glad she's home safely. I understand they re busy.
Snickers is tired from helping me work today. We just took a walk around the triangles again but wind gusts are blowing too hard for stuff in her eyes. There are sticks, acorns, gumballs, limbs all over the road. I'll do the best I can to clear it tonight because it can cause car damage and I'll need to do my hair for tomorrow.
Have a great weekend friends!

@1Snickers, I hope that you're enjoying the Christmas Luncheon and gift opening with your friend today! I hope the weather there has sunshine.
I'm sorry that your street is always messy from repairs. Please be careful of your walking path and watch for tripping or foot rolling debris. I'm so afraid that if I took a fall, my life and body would never be the same.
Please give Snickers some sweet hugs from me. Wish I could deliver them myself. And Hugs and Love to you dear friend! ![]()

My local news stated tomorrow is super Saturday. Last weekend before Christmas - final shopping push....I have no shopping left to do, and I avoid the highway to our local mall the whole month of December if I can.
Wishing everyone a great weekend. We have a small get together to go to tomorrow night. Just maybe 6-10 pm. Maybe 12 people. It will be nice. Not much planned until Christmas Eve.
@hullie Thinking of you with your hand surgery today. I'm hoping you will be feeling ok and can be home resting. Sending hugs! ❤️
@lynnie61 Thanks, Had to be at hospital at 5:30 Friday and Sarah was here at five bless her heart. After I got checked in I sent her home and said a nurse or I would call when done so she didn't have to wait hours for me. I got home around noon and I have been sleeping since just getting up to take Bijou outside occasionally. My surgeon himself called this afternoon to see how I was doing, I was so impressed.
