I went to my 10 year reunion in 1983...never again. The class president was the same idiot he was in high school, the few people I did hang out with didn't attend. Though I've run into a few classmates over the years, the only one I keep in touch with is my sister-in-law, lol!

High school was not fun for me...the only good thing that happened to me there was meeting my future DH--to whom I've been married for 48 wonderful years!

I loved HS. We moved away after graduation. I have been to at least 7;reunions over the last 50+ years. Our reunions were every five years. There were 212 in our class. I enjoyed every reunion. So glad I went because many of my friends are now gone.

My DH has never gone to a reunion. There were 900 in his class. Only one of our children has been to a reunion. Their class sizes were over a 1000.

The thing I noticed from the very first first reunion was most of the attendees were classmates from far away. The locals were not interested. I planned several of the reunions from 1500 mikes away...sure could of used local help.

I miss the family reunions that my paternal grandmother's  family had. My father was an only child so he loved seeing all his cousins. They were all farmers so nothing fancy....great food, lawn chairs, blankets and great company.

Yes, I attend reunions and also attend the annual celebration of us alumna "Jubilarians" (those who graduated over 50 yrs. ago). It's always a lovely luncheon provided on campus in what used to be the convent where the nuns lived. I never once stepped foot into it while a student and always wondered what it looked like (it was very mysterious lol). It's very pretty with a lot of moldings and crystal chandeliers. Apparently, they lived quite well despite their vows of poverty.

I graduated in 1957 and have attended many of our reunions.  Our class has had one every five years and I attended probably better then half of them. We had a very close class as well as the two classes before us.  Many attended the other reunions as well.  We had approx 375 in our class. I wasn't able to attend the last one this past summer and was sorry to miss it as it was probably the last one.  High school was a great experience for me and evidently for most in our class as we always had a very good turnout.  I'm still in touch with many of my girlfriends and always notified when we lose a classmate.

I hope you enjoy your reunion as much as I always enjoyed mine.

Nope, never attended any reunions, HS or college. Honestly only recall 1 friend and maybe 2 teachers from HS.

I moved away about a year after I graduated HS. Best thing I ever did for myself.

@ SingingLady, enjoy your reunion !  It just so happens that I recently volunteered to be the class rep for my HS class of 1968. I have been sending emails to the list of classmates  and making calls to confirm current contact info. We will also be planning a reunion. I have received feedback from a view classmates, some have deceased but many have not responded at all. The classmates I was able to reach were very welcoming and glad to hear from me and I enjoyed our catching up on each others lives post highschool.  I will continue to reach out and update our alumni association and I'm hoping to reach more so we can have a get together next year.

I've attended several, the last was my 50th back in 2017.  Wouldn't go to any more of them even if they are held, which I don't think they are since the pandemic.

No thanks.   Went to school with a bunch of snobs and social climbers.
