just booked flights, rental car and hotel for my 55th reunion in July. My class has had them every five years. Small high school in a small town. I was transplanted there in 1966 when my mom remarried. What a culture shock, I came from a big city. Anyhow we had a lot of good times even with the requisite teenage drama and angst, lol. Mascot was Redskins which has since been changed to the lame Red Hawks. Regardless we will again haul out our Redskins banner for the group photo. "We are great we are fine we're the class of '69" haha
Do you go to yours?

I don't have interest in reunions; family or class. I graduated 50 years ago; our class has only had one reunion, 10 years, and it was not well attended.

No. Its all the way across the country & I feel no connection to it anymore. They had pictures of the last one online & i hardly recognized most of the people. The friends i was closest to weren't there or are dead. Do have a couple friends from high school I stay in touch with but they don't go either.

I have never attended our HS reunion. We live in a very small town where everyone knows everyone elses business. There was always the same popular groups/cliques throughout HS and afterwards who controlled the reunions.

@smoochy It seems like you are really excited, enjoy! I have been to 2 reunions in 44 years and will never attend again as it is not my forte.

@smoochy To answer your question: No. I could not possibly care less about any high school reunion. I'm 75 and never went to any.

I went to one high school reunion and that did it for me. I haven't kept in touch with class mates and don't attend any kind of reunion. The past is the past to me and I don't go back there.
@smoochy Hope you enjoy your renunion.

Yes I go to my reunions but they are for grammar school not high school.
Our last one was Oct 2022, the one before was May 2017.
At last year's reunion we had one classmate that hadn't been to any reunions so we hadn't seen him since 8th grade in 1967.
One of our classmates said to the group his life was changed by the work my dad put into preparing him for Punt Pass & Kick which my dad ran. Lots of tears on that one and it made it all worth it traveling to the Bay Area from Denver for the reunion.

Hubby and I thought it would be fun to go to our 50th. However--
It was just as you described in that the same cliques of 16-18 yo were the same as 68yo's.
The cliques never grew up. I didn't matter if the class nerd was now an astronaut or a brain surgeon. If you were not in the popular group in HS they still had no interest in your life after HS.
