Looked for a previous thread, but couldn't find one. If this is a duplicate, please delete, Mods.

What did anyone receive? Love it? A re-gift possibility? Exchange for another size or color?

I had a pr. of earrings on my wish list. No more "good jewelry". These are by Jenny Bird. huggies, but with a big presence. They have a ball w/ silicone backing which is so easy and comfy. This is my 3rd pr. from the site. I recieved the "silver" ones and the "gold" ones. Really happy that Hubby liked my suggestions and I didn't get a blender, etc.

Re: HOLIDAY GIFTS?

[ Edited ]

Well---I gifted myself a new Ipad--am enjoying that. Got a few food delivery cards--will enjoy those. DD and I buy each other gifts and as her b-day is the 23rd, I buy for that--had a couple things I had to return--- ---but then I  gift my son /dil with cash. My family doesn't exchange gifts anymore but we  buy the 4 kids--2 little ones and 2 teens-- gifts, usually cash as well.

My old cat girl was feeling poorly from thanksgiving and thru   xmas--so not quite as festive for us as normal. We weren't sure if she would pull thru without major intervention----but she did and is her lovely self again.  Woman Happy

We no longer buy each other holiday gifts or even birthday for that matter.   We decided years ago that we'd rather take vacations and go out for nice dinners.  I do purchase at times for myself but it's really a year round thing.   I have been streamlining the "self gifting" thing though as I just don't need another piece of clothing or jewelry!   Trying to be realistic about it all.

Happy for you @Shanus  and hope you enjoy your pretty earrings Smiley Happy

Since we buy what we want there is no reason to give holiday gifts any longer. I think its is fine after 31 years. I did get a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

@Shanus @LindaSal @wagirl

When DD asked me what I wanted, I couldn't think of anything at first.

Then, I remembered how nice it would be to have an immersion mixer for my protein drink (which I tend to avoid in favor of junk food!)

So I received one by Keurig and it is a FROTHER!

Its really nice, it froths my drink (which is exciting)!

Gosh I feel so sorry for those that don't exchange Christmas gifts anymore based solely on their long relationship. My dh and I have been together 51 years and married 47. We always go out of our way to buy something special that we'd love. My dh has always been very romantic and is terrific at picking out heart felt gifts. Heart

I bought a lot of Olaplex products to try. My hair already looks so much better.

I also bought several Dr. Gross products.

My Dyson vacuum stopped working after 7 yrs. so I bought a new one. My Vitamix stopped after 15 yrs. the other day so I had to buy another one of those. What's Next?

I need a new motorhead for my old Dyson. It's $75 so guess I will order it.

A combination of gifting myself and suggesting to family what I would like.  I did get a few surprises....

A new Kindle with cover (the TSV in teal). Lots of clothes along with a new red Patricia Nash leather bag that I gifted to myself.

Candles, gift cards, framed photos, various odds & ends like fluffy socks, snowmen and my brother gave us a gift box of organic beef that he orders for us each year.

Thank goodness no one got me lotion.  I much prefer to buy my own beauty items!

@ID2 --so nice to her about you and hubby. My ---now an ex--could care less about gift giving for any occassion--that included our 2 kids.
