I was just thinking, lots of time to do that now, whether our lives will be measured Before COVID19 & After COVID19. Will the economy be referred to as BC and AC, the loss of friends and family, restaurants that we frequented BC, but went out of business AC.
When it is AC, hopefully all here to see it, will it be even close to the life we knew BC?

@Shanus - not sure about that. I think there are a lot of people who will continue going about their business like the virus never happened. I see many people out and about without social distancing, grocery shopping like its a normal day. It just stuns me.
I don't think I will forget it. If anything it taught me more about cleaning things that I bring into my home from stores. Not sure if wearing masks will be the new normal but I think its going to be awhile before we are truly out of the woods.
My husband's son was diagnosed with covid-19 this week and was rushed to the hospital Thursday night and dianosed with pneumonia. They are now talking ventilator and have put him on that malaria medication. As you can't really get updates, I see the worry my husband is going through and as he said, there's nothing you can do about it. Very sad.

Oh my goodness, @riley1. I will think positive thoughts for you family. Such nail-biting times these are.
But no, this too shall pass and then be just a few pages in the history books. That's how we humans roll. Short memories.
Indeed, if not, we would have been more prepared. But I'll leave that alone for now.

@riley1 That's more than sad. Maybe that's one thing we will learn from is to always be prepared. Our docs are certainly getting a fast lesson in emergency medicine. Prayers to him that he comes home well & soon.

i tend to agree @suzyQ3 . i think it will just be a "blip" in history in a relatively short period of time. there will probably be other worst things to come that will be remembered more vividly. i do think that MAYBE people will try to be more prepared and begin storing items or having more items around than they may need. i did not have this problem......i already purchase more items than i need.......my family always laughed at me......until NOW! ![]()
i dont think tons of people will be wearing masks or gloves from now on. i think that probably people will want to go back to their own "normal" as soon as possible. i hardly see anyone wearing masks and gloves NOW to be honest with you.
hope everyone is able to get through this and hope that we will all be joined together again soon in doing the things we love and caring for the people we love......as friends, as family, as a nation, and as a world. PEACE
