I've been working really hard to get my bone density numbers up so that I can get off the bone density drugs. I'll find out mid-year, when I get my next Dexa scan done, if that will be possible. That's my goal for this year.

@SilleeMee

What are you doing toward this goal?  My PC dr. is at me tooth and nail to get back on one of those infusion meds again because of my terribly bad osteoporosis and I really don't want to but she has me so scared not to!  I am exercising more but I don't know if this is enougj???? I can't take the pills because of my bad stomach.

@AngelPuppy1

Please read my post #9.

ETA-

Including the walk on the treadmill, the resistance/weight-bearing exercises and the stretching, it takes me at least over an hour everyday. I do that religiously.

1.  continue to purge stuff, not leaving for kids to do

2.  take more time & care for myself

3.  do what i can for people but not over extend myself

4.  hike more

5   garden more

6.  make a diagram for a planting bed in my yard for pollinators etc.  complete with plantings for a Fall target date.

7.  continue with my exercising and healthy eating which is a constant in my life. continue to let things go, my emotional health is much happier that way.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

I don't do resolutions--never have. Goals--well---gotta pack up to move by the end of January. THAT is my only goal.

Have more patience with DH's repetitive stories.

Eat healthier, primarily incorporate more fruits and veggies into diet.

Develop an exercise program and adhere to it.

@AngelPuppy1   If I could quit sugar so can you.  I always had candy around, always.  And don't ask about soda, yikes.  Drank it like water.

I had no choice in stopping, pesky diabetes did it for me.  Cold turkey.

Now, Seriously,  I have no desire for cake, pie, etc.  I don't miss it at all.  Bread and pasta, well, that still appeals to me but I know I can't go nuts with it.

You can do it.  Once you get over the initial hump you will do great.

I stopped with the New Year resolution some time ago. If I'm gonna do something then I'll just do it.
