This morning  my younger sister and her daughter, stopped by  my house, and did a few chores for me.Tonight,I have fresh clean sheets to sleep on.

I actually had a pkg to give to her.(She's like me,she loves Jammies which I bought from the Q.Anyway,I was so appreciative of this kind act.

My parents are coming over tomorrow with lunch. My daughter has called me,but no offer of helping out.

I try not to dwell on this.

I'm glad family stepped up to help, like others said try to get as much rest as possible, and maybe elevate your wrist? I'm sure we don't realize how much we use our hand until we can't.

Yes @Luvsmyfam you can always use a pillow to elevate your arm (hand) while in bed and also when you are sitting on the sofa. A cushion would help also.

@Luvsmyfam I'm very glad for you. You have a good sister and niece. Great that your parents are coming tomorrow. Just do the best you can, use a pillow under your arm and try not to think about your daughter.

Take care of yourself and don't stress too much. Every day that passes, you are one day closer to being completely healed Woman Happy

sometimes relatives don't live up to our expectations; it's unfortunate but true. Has she said why she hasn't offered help or is that just the way she is?

Sometimes when we need help, we need to ask for it.  Not everyone looks beyond their nose to see that help is needed and they don't offer.

She is your daughter....ask her for help.  Apparently, she is not insightful.

I hope you're on the mend.  Hang in there.

@Luvsmyfam  I hope you are getting some rest right now. Please do not talk about your daughter. Most Posters here know about the relationship so please don't say anymore. If she offers to help, that's fine. Concentrate on getting better. You don't need to be aggravated. It won't help you to heal.

So just relax and let the rest of your family do what they can. Maybe soon you will be able to do some things for yourself but don't overdo it. Take care of yourself.
