How fun to live among the tarantulas.  It's suppose to be their mating season when they migrate in large masses right now.  I suppose AZ. has them as does Southern NM.

My son had one as a pet as a teenager.  That's boys for you.

@Kachina624      I had a friend who had one of those BIG spiders sitting on her driveway.......so she decided to SHOOT IT.    Got the spider, but she blew a hole in the driveway so big, she had to have it repaved...    di

Another reason I was not cut out to live anywhere other than a big city.  I would have passed out.  Also no more grapes ever.

So much for grapes for me. Ugh

I hear ya!  Years ago I used to get those large black seedless grapes from Costco ever since I heard that spiders hide in the bunches I quit purchasing, 'don't like spiders, eeek!'

Black widow spiders have been known to make homes inside bundles of grapes. People have found them after buying grapes from the grocery store.

@SilleeMee   I  know--this is part of the reason I was internally freaking out the first time I saw my little grandson in his highchair being fed grapes right from the bag, not washed. Not only what's potentially been on them but they are dirty.

Whenever I buy grapes they go straight into a colander for a good spray rinse...haven't seen any spiders in the yet!
