@Kachina624 --yes DD and I have AC in our bedrooms--but not in the rest of our tiny apt. And if I cook--OMGosh----it heats up so fast----yesterday was a horrible day--toward the afternoon, the wild fire smoke from all around us hit with a vengence!! Got so hazy and smoky and the sun shine was that orange color and the air smelled awful----had to close up the windows and slider and turn on the ---400--fans I have. It's supposed to cool down and even rain a tad these next few days--here's hoping!!!

Upper midwest.

We had record cold temps last week. Many turned on their furnace.

We are having record high temps this week and through part of next week. 

We always have a week or two of warm temps mid September but this is hotter that any year on record.

Love Autumn!  Have since born/bred New England.  Up there, ya seem to cant not love Autumn!    Everything was so right about it!

Yet, down here, and at this stage of my life, age, body, & esp now my uber aggravated disabling medical conditions, there's a ying-yang to seasonal changes, temps for Autumn, (yeah, & even more so coming  Winter    ). 

      Already feeling it, - I find myself already scurrying to try to get stuff done, get ready, best prepared, 'cause very significant, adverse changes are already a'come'n, all too fast!.    Prayers welcomed!

Don't understand why the coming of the usual annual fall weather would require significant preparation for adverse situations and even prayer?  Very, very odd and strange.

@monicakm.  That's one reason why I don't live in Texas.  It's in 70s and low 80s here for a stretch now.   They say no more 90s.

We've been experiencing what seems like overwhelming amount of daily, sometimes 1-3+ cont'd days of stubborn, pouring rain.  And yesterday & today delivering a kind of dreary overcast. 

Leaves are dropping at a remarkable rate!! 

Fun watching the kiddos laugh, & dogs shuffle thru & play thru the leaves.

I'm using up these DE-Humidifier bags like crazy, indoors here!! Seems indoor humidity is so high, it's messing up my cont'd Cable connections & even the litter box moisture level!  Thank goodness, Amz delivers & in record time!
