Thank you and I am enjoying some great weather here.  I love it with Halloween and Thanksgiving coming up. Not to mention my birthday at the end of this month!😉

What an absolutely adorable wee mouse! Here in the low desert of CA, it is still in the 100's with high humidity but I am hoping that this time next year we will be in western WA close to the coast where our dear son lives.

I think it looks more like a mouse. Those ears.

It might be a dormouse. Not a true mouse but still a rodent.

The little creature was identified as a baby squirrel.   It's features aren't sharp enough to be a mouse.  So many species have different characteristics.

A dormouse isn't in the mice family. Dormice are sometimes called 'micro squirrels' b/c they appear to look more like squirrels than mice.
