The leaves are already starting to change color in the Colorado mountains. They say it's b/c of all of rain we got this summer. The moisture triggers early fall colors 🍂 to appear. They should peak in color mid-Sept through early Oct depending on the elevation.

Thanks! We are really enjoying our fall weather here in Pennsylvania. Beautiful days and cool nights. We could use some rain right about now, but can't have everything.

I am enjoying Fall weather, so much better than that horrible hot and humid weather that I so dislike.  It is still warm and sunny but enjoyable and the nights cool which is great!!!  I have energy, motivation to do things inside and outside, it's my time of year!!!!!!

It's still overly warm for us in the PNW--today near 80* and is hazy with wildfire smoke, so the sunshine is orange. Still have 400 fans blowing in my apt . Saw some color on the trees but not much.

@wagirl.  Hope you cool off soon.  I know such heat is unusual for you.  I guess you have no AC.

Planning a drive when leaves are ready thinking Bailey or Foxton, only 45 minutes from here.  Can't wait.

Ouray area is where I'm headed in a couple of weeks. Friends there say don't wait too long b/c fall colors are happening now and will soon be gone before you know it.  I love Ouray. Telluride, too. Could never afford to live there but I can still visit.
