I remember this date with angst and so I try to stay busy and avoid the news. United 93 went down near here and at the time our Red Cross chapter was in charge of the site, caring for the families, workers and planning the remembrance services. I was the Chairman of the Board, it was one of the most stressful times of my life, I still have nightmares from the weeks I spent at the crash scene. I miss the comradery that we had following but the event nearly destroyed my psyche.
