Not sharp enough to be a box cutter but earns its keep!
I've never seen this tool before, what is it called? I'd like to order one.
It's a Chestnut knife. Amazon has some. Million uses and more!

I bought a bottle of liquid laundry soap from Walmart and could not get the top off, I tried everything I could think of. I took it back and they couldn't get it off either. I hope they didn't put it back on the shelf. Also I have one prescription bottle I have to leave the top off because it's impossible to open.

I can HIGHLY recommend this 3 piece set
V93037
Slice Home & On-The-Go Ceramic Cutter 3 pc. ( sorry Im unable to copy photo)
The flat one has a magnet and it lives on my fridge door.
The J-hook one is for all my packages and could not be safer to use.
Comes with extra blades.
When I bought years ago and still using, it did not include the keychain one.
$29.98

I also bought a set of the Kuhn Rikon scissors which are very helpful to cut open certain types of packaging.
@DottieBlue - I bought the 3 in a pack at Christmas time of the Kuhn Rikon scissors. Kept one and gifted 2 others. I wish I would have kept another one. They are the best scissors I've ever owned!

I have to use a wrench to get my friut punch open!

I often struggle with opening the outer packaging and then, after finally opening, I have issues with the inner seal that is on most food and cosmetic items. They put a teeny tab that you can't get a hold of and then the glue is so strong you can't pull the inner covering off.
Another related pet peeve is the issue I often have getting the pump to "unlock" and release on items with a pump. I keep turning and holding down or whatever the instructions say and won't release. I know there are some hints on how to fix this when it happens on Youtube so I know I'm not the only person who has had this problem.
It sure can be exhausting trying to open things!

Just last night I had to beat and break the top off of a Resses peanut butter pretzels container. The lid would not come off. Beat it to death with a hammer. Also have trouble opening new bottles of Downey fabric softener.

@LizzieInSRQ I recall I bought it when MBR presented the Slice set years ago. I gave one to a friend. Amazon carries them also.
I have cheap searated steak knives on hand also that I used before I bought the Slice set. Kuhn Rikon scissors are good for hard plastic packs.
