Last week I saw a few signs for estate sales. But when it's 110°, not too many people are interested. 
I've never had a garage sale.

I don't have the patience, or the desire to haggle with someone over a $5 item.
I just donate items to St Vincent DePaul's or Salvation Army.

Never been interested in having a yard or garage sale, or going to one.   I just give my stuff away, or toss it.

Our neighborhood holds a yearly garage sale in March or April.  We usually participate but didn't this year due to other plans.  I would usually plan around it but was given such short notice this year.  We've done our own garage sale once in October and did very well so we're thinking of doing it again.  It can still be very warm where I live in October.  Started going to some estate sales this past year.  Never really buy anything though we went to one yesterday and I bought an old church recipe cook book.

A couple of years ago we placed our daughters twin size bed and mattress on FB Marketplace.  A friend warned us that we'll get a lot of people who just like to message and ask questions but not honestly interested in wanting it.  I was getting about 50 messages from people asking questions and it went on all day, every day.  It didn't sell via FB but did sell thru Nextdoor App.

@RedTop  I agree. I had one garage sale many years ago....it was a lot of work....never again....

Don't care for them, but they are popular in my area. I generally toss or donate things so I don't accumulate enough for a rummage sale.
