Keep in mind that there are a lot of certain people who you might be very surprised to hear about that have made racist comments in the past....I cannot mention who they are due to community guidelines.

Thank you but I'm well aware & don't need a reminder. Just like yourself,I'm entitled to my opinions.

The summer between my Jr. and Sr. year of high school, I arttended my first live concert.  It was Eric Clapton and the place smelled kinda funny. 🤷‍♀️

We have a lot of Social Justice Warriors on this board.

You need to step out.  I work with all kinds every week and it's amazing how naive too many on this board really are/or pretend to be.

@Cookie2025   Since you do "step out" and "work with all kinds," please do enlighten us regarding our naivete.

@Cookie2025,Maybe you can step out and say what you mean instead of a post that explains nothing of what you are trying to say.

You don't know how many "step out" at all on here and what anyone does every day.

By all means, step out.

@Cookie2025 Wait. Never mind. If you can't be clear the first time and want to come across as knowing it all above any peons here, then no. Don't explain.

Reminds me of a poster who doesn't post here anymore. And It made it so much nicer.

Eric Clapton is an immensely talented man, and I have been a fan for 40+ years. He has said unpopular things, but that will not detract me from his music. He has been a one-of-a-kind musician I have followed all through my  adulthood.

He can have whatever opinions he wants, however, needs to keep emotionally charged topics out of the public eye. No one wants to hear these things, cares, and they can contribute to his downfall.
