Goodafternoon qvc friends.In my neck of the woods,the temp is in the high 90 s,and no relief in sight until maybe Wed.My poor air is really working hard!

It's 104° but feels like 109°. The humidity is only 27%. Suppose to be 103° to 108° through Fri. Still in the 90's this weekend.

It feels nice out in the dry heat without the humidity.

Perfect swimming weather. If our air quality wasn't 63% I would be sitting on the patio. I can deal with hot but not humid.  

Try to stay cool. I closed all the cellular shades on the south side which really makes a difference.

As your neighbor to the North @Luvsmyfam I can tell you it's 87 and humid. Tomorrow and Tuesday will be pleasant, but then the heat returns. I'll be so happy once the daily high is only 72!

Yep, it's hot in Illinois.   Lawn needs to be cut so I guess we'll do it late this afternoon as each day is going to get worse and worse especially Wednesday and Thursday.   It's 92 now and the "real feel" temperature is 98.

It seems my drapes and blinds have been closed since June.I absolutely 💯 😕 hate summer!

We're in Chicago about a mile from the lake and it's not always "cooler by the lake!!!"  Went out this morning and there was hardly a breeze.  Seems like we're in for 2 or 3 days of really hot, 90s', weather but compared to the rest of the country, I'm not complaining!

@kaydee Chicago fascinates me.My coworker s daught started college at Moody College and is really nervous living in a big city
I'm amazed at all the hotels shopping and restraurants and bars there are.

Will be hot in the 90's in NJ today, but, then they claim nicer weather for the rest of the week!

@Luvsmyfam   Yes, I think NC has seen the hottest summer in recent years...add the humidity and it is brutal.

Everyone lucky enough to have A/C or fans are running them on high. Thunderstorms weekly have resulted in power outages across the state and with this heat, that can be deadly. Some have died from rehydrating too much.

Everyone needs to be cautious.
