Of course you can name names. It’s been done on other threads.

I have enjoyed Clapton's music through the years but like with all celebrities, I don't much care for his personal opinions.  I did see him concert back in the late '70's early 80's, while he was still using drugs and alcohol.  It was a less than stellar performance.  He went off to the side of the stage many times to drink/use.  I don't think he was a comfortable performer in front of a live audience.

We have both his CD and video album called Unplugged. Great stuff. As far as any celebritie's comments, they can say what they want. We are not friends. Just enjoy their talents.

True they can say what they want because they are put on a pedestal and not held to the same standards as everyone else. Although I remember the comedian who in a concert was being heckled and he retorted back with the “N” word. I believe his career is pretty much over. He was on Seinfeld I forgot his name. Nowadays if Eric Clapton made those comments today it would be inflammatory. Personally I’m sick and tired of celebrities using their position in the world to spouse their views. Every ones opinion matters but unfortunately we don’t have access to the public.
